FFA233(DIGITAL INK AND PAINT)-Week 14-Final Outcome

Finally, with blood, sweat, and tears, my work is finally done!
Make a concept art with steampunk as the theme
I personally like the theme, but I myself couldn't draw nor imagine detailed stuff like that I know certain people could, obviously Kus would and could

So here's the final outcome after long weeks of frustration, procrastination, lecturers giving life-threatening situation, motivation, and inspiration;
For an artist, of course, it's normal to see their artwork lack or missing something in their piece, so am  I. But for me, I actually don't know, it's hard to pinpoint exactly what's bugging me. Perhaps the color? Perhaps the perspective? I don't know, but for this particular artwork, I'll accept critiques from you all. Help me improve, yeah?

Here's a 3-minute long time-lapse progress;
I use Paint Tool Sai for the painting part, and Photoshop CS6 for photo impose and effects here and there.

Overall, this class was absolutely educative on the usage of Photoshop and focusing on perspective and colors. The lecturer was incredibly supportive, understanding, and chill with everyone. She focuses mostly on our efforts and to have a good skill in drawing is a plus. Thanks to her, I actually don't feel like tearing apart the artwork (in this case, delete the file or something) and starting a new one. The class is smooth like sipping coffee or tea in a carefree evening.

I guess till we meet again! I'm looking forward to classes like this. Thank you for everything!

FFA231(MECHANIC OF MOTION)-FINAL-HERO 101

My, my, look how the time flies
In just a blink of an eye
It's already final time!

For this final project, we had to play an act with our own props and costumes! In a group of four, we have to come up with a plot, characters and make/get our own props.

My group, consist of Humaira, Aileen and Sakinah decided to play an act revolving anthropomorphic characters who attend a hero academy. It was hard to come up with ideas at first since some of our early ideas weren't unique or creative enough. Or rather, it will not even exceed the minimum of 1 minute that the lecturer gave for the play. Push comes to shove, we got the final ideas.

HERO 101

This play tells a story of the rivalry between four anthropomorphic characters; Bear(A bear), KuKu(A turtle), MuMu(A fox), and KaKa(a frog). Bear and KuKu, who's an A+ student of FiTARO Academy(Academy of heroes), always looked down the other two for being losers and famous for repeating their semesters in the academy due to failing a subject.

It begins with MuMu and KaKa who saw a hit-and-run accident happened to a cat. They rushed to help but was halted by Bear and KuKu for they misunderstood the situation. They thought MuMu and KaKa were bullying the cat. MuMu and KaKa were infuriated by such blame and broke into a fight. KaKa was beaten by KuKu and MuMu was beaten by Bear.

In the last moment, Bear was stopped by the cat. The cat then reveals itself as the dean of the Academy and proceed to fail everyone for they don't understand the true meaning of becoming a hero; to work together in a situation to help others and not bicker on who's the perfect hero.

I play as the character Bear, Humaira play as the sidekick, KuKu, Aileen plays as MuMu and Sakinah play as KaKa.

Here are our characters, each designed by our own.

Bear designed by me

MuMu, designed by Aileen

KuKu designed by Humaira
KaKa designed by Sakinah

Putting all our costumes and prop together, we get this;

Edited by both myself and Sakinah to get that comic vibe going.

Wrapping it all up, here's our play, recorded by Hannah!

The final outcome of this class for me, is to believe in myself and others, and being more confident to act as someone else. Of course, the purpose of this class is to help us get the idea of movement for our animation and whatnot but it was fun and entertaining to act in a different character rather than our own. To experience and be in someone else shoes, it gives you a new perspective and better understanding in developing our own characters in the future.

The cons of this class though, is I get to cringe at myself after seeing myself act.

It was fun,
We had a good run,
Thank you, Encik Ezwan,
Just hoping we won't repeat sem depan!😂😂😂

FFA232-3D ANIMATION-Final Project Progress

I, Dinie and Humaira modeled a medieval tavern for our finals! Since we are only a group of three, we modeled lesser object than other groups. Here's the snapshot of the tavern from every angle;

FFA233-Digital Ink And Paint-Week 11-Progress

Back at it again with the progression of the steampunk themed concept art!

So we had this for last week's progress:

With some knowledge of previous photo-imposing lesson; some photos were added using photoshop cs6, although the perspective differs from the first picture:

And then the painting progress with Paint Tool Sai because my brushes in Photoshop lags like there's no tomorrow:
It's not yet finished, but InsyaAllah I will be able to in a week or so. ^^

Here's a short progress video that I manage to record
